For me, photography is more than just a job; it’s a lifelong journey of discovery, a way to connect with the world and share its stories. Every image I create is a tribute to the moments that make life rich and meaningful, capturing the beauty of existence in all its forms.
Capturing those perfectly imperfect moments is what drove me to first pick up a camera, but human connection is what has kept me inspired all these years. I believe I was put on this Earth to notice and document those tiny moments that tell your story.
When I’m not being your favourite third wheel, you can usually find my three beautiful sons, my husband and I heading to Yallingup for some vitamin sea and country air, amongst also being busy with boys in sport.
I can’t wait to get to know your story too, and I’d be so honoured to play a small part in helping you tell it.
Oh and did I mention I most certainly will travel to capture your magic x
From the moment I picked up my first camera at just 12 years old, I felt an undeniable spark. It was a simple, handheld model, but it opened a world of possibilities that ignited my passion for photography. I would roam the streets of my neighborhood, capturing fleeting moments that spoke to me—a child's laughter, the gentle sway of trees in the wind, or the quiet beauty of everyday life, and my beautiful sisters where always willing subjects for my work as well. Each click of the shutter felt like capturing a whisper of time.
As I grew, so did my love for photography. My style evolved into something deeply nostalgic and soulful, reflecting my desire to tell stories through images. It's something about the human condition that intrigues me and I owe that to my childhood of growing up in Indonesia. I seek out the beauty in the mundane, turning ordinary scenes into extraordinary narratives. Each photograph is a chapter, inviting viewers to step into a moment and feel its essence. The soft glow of twilight, the textures of weathered surfaces, and the expressions of people all come together in a way that resonates with the heart.
There’s no need for perfect poses, perfect weather, perfect outfits, or a perfect location to capture the perfect memory. It’s about a snapshot in time - those photos that allow you to hold a feeling in your hands.
In the words of Henry David Thoreau, “It’s not about what you look at. It’s what you see.” I believe in photographing those little things you might not even notice that capture your flow as a family or couple. The in-between moments, glances, crinkle-eye smiles, goosebumps. There’s nothing more beautiful and fascinating to me than the pure joy, excitement, and comfort of people wildly in love.
I believe that the best photographs come from genuine moments, so I strive to create a relaxed environment where you can feel at ease. Our sessions will feel more like catching up with an old friend than a formal photo shoot. I encourage laughter, movement, and natural interactions, allowing your true selves to shine through.
